Subject to the external sponsorship received from industry, IAEEEE will be able to provide travel support to students with financial needs to attend IAEEEE organized conferences. The purpose of the grants is to encourage and support students in pursuing further development in their research areas covered by the conference theme. The amount and number of grants depend on the unexpended surplus of the conference, and the grants will cover part of travel expenses of student attendees.

Eligibility Check List

¨Preference is given to full time student. If you are studying part time, you are only eligible to apply if you can demonstrate care commitments or a medical condition that make full time studies impossible.

¨An accepted paper of the conference is required before applying.

¨A confirmation of conference registration is required for the applicant.

¨Oral presenters are more likely to be funded compared to poster presenters.

A complete application contains the following documents. The email directed to info@iaeeee.org should include:

•An up-to-date CV

•A letter of support from the student’s instructor

Deadline

Applications should be submitted at least 5-6 weeks prior to conference date.

Application Evaluation

Complete applications will be carefully reviewed by the conference organizing committee.

Decision Notification Process

Decisions are made 3-4 weeks before the conference, and grant winners will be reimbursed on the conference. We encourage the applicants plan their trip ahead instead of waiting for the grant notification to ensure lowest cost.
